Ross Anderson, CFP®
Founder and Principal
Ross began his career as a financial planner at the beginning of the 2008 financial crisis after studying Finance at Christopher Newport University. While those first years were challenging, they were particularly formative. That experience led to a deep respect for tail risks and unexpected events, and also an appreciation for the resilience of public markets and their ability to recover from adversity.
With over a decade of working with high-net-worth clients, Ross has become a sought-after financial planner. He has spoken at investing conferences across the country. And his planning style focuses on practical solutions rather than unnecessary complexity.
Born into a family of entrepreneurs, Ross is blessed to have parents and an uncle who are small business owners. Those great examples in his life have helped nurture his entrepreneurial spirit, as well as an appreciation for helping others create their own financial freedom.
Ross grew up with a passion for music and playing drums, perhaps most notably performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. That music interest grew to include DJing, which was a hobby turned business that remains a part of his life today. A life long Virginia resident, Ross currently lives in Fairfax.
